About Us Valerie Knafelc, MA, CCC-SLP, CLCP Life Care Planning Certificate, University of Florida, 1998 MA in Communication Disorders from the University of Northern Colorado, 1984 BS in Communication Disorders from Colorado State University, 1979 Employment: Ms. Knafelc has over 20 years of experience in the rehabilitation field; working across the age spectrum from pediatrics through geriatrics. Her work settings include public schools, in-patient and out-patient hospital settings; owner of a rehabilitation business that specialized in back to work head injury programs; other contracts included; out-patient, long term care and home health. She has specialized dysphagia certifications in Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulations (NMES)and Deep Neuromusculature Stimulation(DPNS).
